mailman Report post Posted May 27, 2018 Tire and rim conflict and air pressure . I have a Winnebago Itasca Cambria Class C 3 slides, 32 feet. From the factory it had installed ALCOA MAGS Max air pressure 80lbs cold. Tires Michelin LT 225/75R16 tire pressure 80 lbs cold. Place Card on door is 80 lbs rear duals 75 lbs front. Weight on tires unknown. But, am I thinking just put eighty in back 75 front and forget about weight. If anything maybe take weight out of vehicle. tireman9 Report post Posted June 4, 2018 Tim you really do need to confirm you are not overloading any tires. Just because it is Class-C does not mean it can't be overloaded. Data shows over half of RVs have a tire and or axle in overload. I also strongly recommend all RV owners run TPMS as they can give advance warning of air loss due to cut, puncture or leaking valve or leaking valve core. rayin Report post Posted June 27, 2018 The majority of CL C MH's run close to the GVWR anyway, locate a scale and weigh each axle, or, if there is room weigh one side, one wheel at a time, then the other. Remember to have the vehicle level side to side when weighing, with 50% of one side on scale. Pages 7,8,and 9 of this pdf show how to weigh a motorhome on various types of scales.
