keigm Report post Posted November 6, 2018 I just got my bill from Montana to license my Motorhome. They just jumped to $800 if the MH was 10 years old or less and had a purchase price of at least $300K. Has anyone else experienced this?
JoBob04 Report post Posted November 6, 2018 Sorry to hear that. I was lucky, motor home over ten (10) years old and got life time license. I guess Montana is trying to get rid of LLC licensing. Sure sounds as if LLC may not be worth it any longer. I feel sorry for residents of Montana. Florida or South Dakota domicile may be better option, if you can. Best to you and be safe out there. sorrenti Report post Posted November 6, 2018 Several states are now cracking down on the LLC licensing schemes. Friends of ours just got hit with a $6K back tax on their coach in NC
richard5933 Report post Posted November 6, 2018 Sounds like they have a personal property tax on MHs in Montana. Our registration is under $120/year regardless of value.
