Low air brake warning buzzer won’t go off, 2006 Monaco Cayman

The lower air pressure warning light continues to beep even when the gauges Register full air.  Does anyone know where to disconnect the buzzer?

The most common problem is the pressure switch on the parking brake valve fails. Remove the console at the parking brake release valve and disconnect the wire and see if it stops.

Ripley, Who's chassis is the coach built on ?  and what is the wheel base length? Some times the wheelbase changes things a little.

Safe travels, Thanks for the updated info. Ear plugs and an eye on the pressure reading ! No quick stops, if the pressure drops to 50 lbs. stop, much lower and the stop is no fun !

Air bag and trailing arm states ? Have they been replaced per recall ?

The speaker for the system is above the accelerator pedal, can you clip a wire or wrap it in a towel to quiet it down? 

Are you sure you don't have a problem with the hydraulic jacks? I believe they share the same speaker.

Thanks, we’ll look there next time we stop, we checked our jacks and they are up all the way and the only light on the dash is the “low air”

We think so, we purchased used 5 years ago. Pressure is staying up where it’s supposed to be steady at 110

The Leveling System is Power gear hydraulic and with the jacks up (Like Joe mentioned all jacks fully retracted). There is a hydraulic tank, motor and valve set up . The tank has a float that sets off the alarm when the level drops below a set point. The Fluid is Dextron 4,if it has not been changed. The good news is there is a good substitute synthetic available.

The power gear panel would flash and state jacks down if jacks are down or fluid is low.  It will also go into auto retract.

Ray, All I get regarding the status of the leveling system is a buzzer and light. No auto retract feature. Start moving and something is going to go pop.

Wish There was a link to when and what manufactures installed that feature.

Because of that lack of information, I do not feel comfortable saying anything about auto retract on all coaches.

Well, beeper and light finally “died”, both got weaker and finally quit. Hopefully we can get home and then see about repairs! We will keep a close watch on the gauges. Thanks for the help and feedback!
