Grandchildren: Minneapolis to FL Panhandle

We will be taking two of our grandchildren by motorhome from Minneapolis to the Florida Panhandle this June. We have not yet determined our route or attractions along the way. Recommendations of RV parks that might interest the kids (ages 6 and 7), as well as attractions along the way would be very much appreciated.

Fermi Labs in Aurora, IL (Maybe not so good for 6-7 year olds).

Chicago area....Chicago area!

Dayton, OH. Likely the most amazing aircraft museum you will ever see (plan 2 days).

Churchill downs Louisville, KY. May 1st is the Kentucky Derby.

All sorts of things in the Nashville, TN area

Pensacola, FL National Naval Aviation museum

The entire Gulf coast!

And if you get to the Pensacola area, a walk on the white sand beaches is a blast. Better down near Fort Walton Beach.

Our grandsons age 8 and 9 enjoyed the Lincoln Home in Springfield, IL, the Children's Museum in Indianapolis, Schimpff's candy factory in Clarksville, Indiana, The Louisville Slugger Museum in ... well Louisville and the Evansville, IN Zoo. Any of these attractions would be of interest to young children.
