Because it is commonly found in RVs, this tool should be your first choice for attempting to clear the blockage. or you can use boiling water. five Report post Posted September 8, 2021 As an aside to this discussion, we have some friends with two macerator toilets. They leave both tanks open all the time. With the macerator toilets there is enough water to keep all waste moving. I tried it and it worked, but I still prefer the old way....let them both get nearly full, dump the black, then the grey.
