MDANER13@GMAIL.COM Report post Posted November 17, 2019 Gulfstream 2002 Workhorse 454 engine, where do I find the air filter.
wolfe10 Report post Posted November 17, 2019 Are you sure it is a 454. Most Workhorse chassis of that vintage have the Chevy 8.1 liter (496 CID). Transmission and suspension depend on whether P or W chassis, but to my knowledge they all use the 8.1 liter engine.
hermanmullins Report post Posted November 18, 2019 If you take off the top of your air filter you can remove the filter and get the number off of it. Herman
dickandlois Report post Posted November 18, 2019 The filter number for the 8.1 L engine on our 2500 suburban is a NAPA 2487. it is mounted so the air intake MAP sensor is located between the filter and the intake manifold. If nothing else you will have an idea of what it might look like in your case. NOTE! If the air intake hose isn't secured and installed properly, the engine will have acceleration issues because of an incorrect fuel to air mixture. Performance is compromised. Rich. obedb Report post Posted November 21, 2019 NAPA is sometimes expensive, but they do amazing work looking for parts. Take the filter to a NAPA store and ask for help.
