Justinvl Report post Posted January 12, 2021 I am looking to get rid of all the original surround sound speakers in my Southwind 32V. It has the original TV cabinet. I can't for the life of me find a mount for hanging to the flat surface under the TV cabinet. Has anyone done this and can steer me in the right direction? Thanks
hermanmullins Report post Posted January 13, 2021 Justin, Welcome to the Forum. By some chance could you attach a picture of the cabinet? That might help folks come up with some suggestions. Again Welcome, Herman
richard5933 Report post Posted January 13, 2021 What brand of soundbar are you looking for? We have a Bose which has an available mount. Sounds great and was easy to install. jleamont Report post Posted January 13, 2021 (edited) Here is what I did with ours. I bought the mount at Target. I went with a much higher weight rating than the TV actually weighed to help with bouncing. There are rubber feet under the sound bar to help stop it from any bouncing that might occur. Our cabinet is real cherry, not particle board so mounting the bracket with nuts and bolts through the windshield side wasn't an issue. garywilson Report post Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) I'd recommend at least the JBL Bar 9.1 Soundbar. This is the best soundbar for its price range because its comes with the surrounded speakers is its detachable subwoofer merged speakers. Also, Bose soundbar 700 is a good one too. tom7020 Report post Posted October 23, 2021 Sturdy, well-built, comes with all the parts you'd need and more, and works as intended. The only concern is that the documentation should be a little clearer on how to install. My favorite feature is the ability to tilt on the go without having to unscrew. The lock stays in place. In approximately 30 minutes, we were mounted and in our camper.
