rossboyer Report post Posted June 10, 2021 See if you can get reservations? We liked staying at Colter Bay in the Tetons. The campground is on the north end of the Teton NP. Easy access to drive into Yellowstone and/or Tetons or Jackson. I don’t know if you have to also have a reservation to drive through. There has been some discussions that dome NP are doing that. If you can take a float trip through the Tetons on the Snake river. Gentle ride. Like sitting on a large inner tube. We have done it 3 times and always took the last trip of the day. manholt Report post Posted June 11, 2021 Welcome! Agree with Ross. We carry Scuba Boots for any river trips we might encounter. Proper footwear, is in a plastic bin, every where we travel. Same with rain/wind/cold weather clothing. They had a foot of snow in Yellowstone couple of weeks ago....I've had the same in July before! It's currently still sleeting in the San Juan Mt's of CO.
