McGoo Report post Posted October 10, 2011 I would like opinions of the 2011 Chevy Colorado as a tow vehicle and it's dependability.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted October 10, 2011 We have towed a 99 silverado coast to coast, border to border over 80k miles without a problem.
kingfr Report post Posted October 10, 2011 A Silverado and a Colorado are not exactly the same thing! I have a friend who has a Colorado and is very pleased. Not a 2011 though, 2007 or 2008.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted October 10, 2011 I know a silverado is a larger truck. The point I was making is that it tows well so that the colorado should do the same.
hermanmullins Report post Posted October 10, 2011 I too have a friend that tows a Colorado and he has no complaints. He also carries a golf cart in the P/U. He has said that it tows nicely however he has the 4 cylinder and says it doesn't have enough power. Good tow, good milage, not much power.
McGoo Report post Posted October 12, 2011 Thanks for your replies, I'm more interested in their mechanical reliability.
