BROWNG22 Report post Posted November 7, 2011 2005 Fleetwood Expedition 38N has the plastic entry door handle that is no longer lighting up. I see four screws at the top of the handle and four at the bottom of the handle. If I remove those is there a bulb or something a novice can deal with. Where does one get one of these bulbs if that is the problem. Any watch outs as I do this???? As always I am thankful for this site and its help....glen
lmsooter Report post Posted November 7, 2011 I had the same problem on my Alfa See Ya. It is a simple matter to remove the screws and replace the bulb if it is like mine. Check this listing on Ebay and see if the bulb matches what you have http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150574197892&refid=store
MikeCanter Report post Posted November 8, 2011 My handle has a LED in it and I went to Radio Shack and bought another one and soldered it in and it works great.
dogpatch Report post Posted November 26, 2011 I have a glass handle on my 2000 Winnebago. It doesn't light. Should it???
hermanmullins Report post Posted November 26, 2011 Les, The answer to your question is like going South for the Winter," Some do, Some don't". Give Winnebago a call, they may know if your coach had a lighted handle or not. Have a good one.
gladysdale Report post Posted June 5, 2012 I had to replace the bulb in the one in the bathroom. No way to get at the back of the LED so I drilled out the circuit board, found a high intensity bulb at Radio Shack and put the correct size resistor in series. You need to drop about 10 volts at the rated current.
johntelling Report post Posted June 8, 2012 I just had the same problem with my Expedition. http://ShopFleetwoodParts.com has the part listed on the home page for $10.95, although there is a $15 minimum. I got mine somewhere else (http://discountrvparts.com/). It included the pigtail and connector, so it is really easy to change! JT
