Dannyjodi Report post Posted August 20, 2012 My My AC fan always runs, it's the back one. And when I'm off shore power and generator I hear a clicking noise coming from it. I have a Fleetwood Southwind Storm 2000
dickandlois Report post Posted August 20, 2012 Danny, Thinking a failed Thermostat. Unplug the cable connected to the heat / ac , temperature control board and see if the fan stops running. The cable looks just like the ones used for the phone head sets everybody used to have hanging on the wall. Got a feeling the clicking sound you hear is a relay on the interface board between the AC unit and the Thermostat. Let us know what the results are. Rich. wolfe10 Report post Posted August 20, 2012 Danny, What brand and model? Are the controls on the unit, or do you have a separate thermostat? Has it always done this, or is this a new issue?
wayne77590 Report post Posted August 23, 2012 I'm just going to ask a dumb question. Does the control unit have an Auto/On position? Is it in Auto? If it is the On position the fan will not shut off. Just a thought.

If it is the On position the fan will not shut off.Just a thought. That was going to be my question. If your T stat is set up like noted above and is in the "on" position, the A/C compressor will cycle on and off, but the fan keeps running.
