bandnmak Report post Posted September 4, 2012 I have a 34 coachmen and in the shower at the bottom where the walls meet the bottom piece there is no silicone, now I know in a house it gets silicone does an RV shower also get silicone?
wolfe10 Report post Posted September 4, 2012 Look closely at the way the shower is constructed-- in many the walls overlap the floor pan. If so, it does not require any sealer. Others do just butt up and do require a sealant.
bandnmak Report post Posted September 4, 2012 If it does overlap does it hurt to put it on or is there a reason why its not on there already?
Jofenech Report post Posted November 9, 2013 I like things like that sealed up. Might try some of the new clear latex based caulking, it goes on white and dries clear. It won't last as long as silicone, but what I like about it is when it needs to be redone, it is easy to remove, unlike silicone. It is also very forgiving during application and cleans with water until dry.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted November 9, 2013 We have used silicone to seal the shower pans for years and if you need to remove it a plastic scraper works just fine,
