One file in particular would be useful to owners of any of their coaches. The PDF files are on the right side the of the Web page. The one of real interest is Motorhome Maintenance Tips. It lists routine maintenance and a checklist for storing one's coach.

Freightliner service centers Link. This will allow one to fine a center, but from experience they are not all equally set up for RV's. Some have space for RV's to park with level areas,power and water and other locations no RV sites. The ones to look for are the Oasis Centers, then you call them and ask what amenities they provide for you. There is a very wide range of what they provide.

New to the forum, I'm reading up intensely trying to get smart on a purchase of a motor coach and learning so much every day from the FMCA forum. Found this link you provided on chassis maintenance and read through it, including the embedded links. Thanks for posting this.

Wife and I are still deciding on the make/model DP w/tag that we want or desire (desire better the better term given what we're willing to spend) in terms of a good slightly used 2-4 y/old 42-45' motor coach but something has already told me that the Freightliner chassis might be a big + (plus) to own.

Richard. Welcome to the Forum!

2 to 4 years old, OK. Slightly used, not OK. Low mileage on a DP is not what you want, ideally 5 to 10K a year keeps everything from drying out and needing to be replaced prematurely! Don't forget that a diesel is a million mile engine and need to be driven, not 100% broken in until around 40-60K.
