geraldlanc Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Are there any small pickups, Nissan, Toyota, for ex. that are towable four down? Also, are all models of the Honda CRV towable four down? Gerald
jrwitt Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Toyota Tacoma is not towable without driveshaft disconnect. I think the Nissan Frontier is towable, but only with manual transmission. Not many small pickups left.
wolfe10 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Gerald, Here is an excellent resource that goes back many years: http://www.fmca.com/motorhome/towing Click on: Towing Guides- towing four wheels down. Then select the model year you are interested in. Be aware that you need to double check with the manufacturer, as some have declared non-towable a few models previously deemed towable 4 wheels down (you will find some information on these in discussion here in the towing section. desertdeals69 Report post Posted October 16, 2013 Usually pickups with a manual transmission are towable. I tow a Silverado 1/2 ton with a 5 speed.
TownCreek Report post Posted October 16, 2013 I've been towing a Toyota Tacoma for 3 years. Had to install drive shaft disconnect to make it work. No problems. Saved me from purchasing different or another vehicle.
