Cleaning Diamond Shield Coating

Does anyone have experience with cleaning the Diamond Shield finish on the front of their rig? Our 2008 Bounder has stains and looks nasty after being washed. We would welcome any and all hints you may have.

We have a 2011 Bounder Classic with a Diamond Shield front finish. It is in great condition (so far) but some folks recommend taking if off while I still can, before it gets "stained and nasty". It looks like a lot of work and I would be worried about damaging the paint. Think I'll just keep it waxed and hope for the best. I think water gets behind it and mold starts. If you can't wash off the stained parts you may have to remove the Diamond Shield and hopefully just touch up any paint that has come off with it...

Are you sure you have Diamond Shield and not 3M? 3M will discolor and crack I know for sure.

I treat my Diamond Shield like the rest of the coach. It gets washed and waxed along with everything else...looks fine.
