desertdeals69 Report post Posted December 11, 2014 We have repaired several damaged ladders in our shop. If the damage is the tubing likely it is 7/8 inch anodized aluminum marine tubing. Cut out the damaged section and replace it with a new section using 3/4 tubing as a splice stiffener. Secure with stainless sheet metal screws.
