kaypsmith Report post Posted March 30, 2015 Camp Gulf is beautiful at Destin Fl., Top Sail is a Fl State Park about 30 miles east of Destin on hgy, 98 it is a very pretty camp about half the price of Camp Gulf, and with your Florida residency, you will be entitled to half off of that. tilldee Report post Posted April 4, 2015 We have friends who are at Camp Gulf, Destin, FL right now and we'll be joining them next week, our first visit. They love the campground, and you can camp right on the beach. That's where we'll be. Can't wait to get up in the morning and watch the dolphins. It's a little pricey to stay on the beach, but it's our splurge week this year. Friends have also stayed at Destin West RV Park and said it was very nice, and will stay their again. It is on the bay, not directly on the gulf.
markstella Report post Posted April 4, 2015 Friends of ours stay at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort, they spend about 2 months there during the winter. He also mentioned that a new RV park was built a short distance from there: Coastline RV Resort. Good Luck and enjoy!
NCBounder Report post Posted April 7, 2015 Check out Fort Pickens Campground. Its part of Gulf Islands National Seashore. Beautiful beaches and close to Pensacola.
