hermanmullins Report post Posted February 2, 2016 Speaking of drains, when storing the coach for an extended period of time it helps to pour RV Anti Freeze down each drain. Water held in the traps can evaporate over time and the tank odors migrate into the coach. The anti freeze will not evaporate and will just flush away when use begins again. ralphs Report post Posted November 30, 2016 If you set up the sewer hose with a trap in it the sewer gas from the system will not enter the coach. You can leave the gray water valve open with a trap in the hose, I have been using an old block to elevate the hose and form the trap. Works good!
