Apex Water Supply Hose

Recommended Posts

Anyone using this hose at this time? if so can you provide some feedback?

https://www.apexhose.com/zero-g-rv-marine-hose

Two of us on here have been considering the purchase of this but do not want to spend the money for another "snake oil" gimmick. My current traditional white RV hose is huge when rolled up and takes up too much space. Looking for alternatives.

Thank you

Actually that is one of the first of that type that I have seen that was listed as safe for drinking water. I wonder how well the connectors hold up? They look like they only have a knurled band to grasp when tightening the connectors.  I will be interested to hear how they work. I am replacing a couple of the cheap whit hoses from Walmart and Camping world because the fittings are so thin and cheap they just crack and leak. I am looking at Camco hoses.

Bill, I use this one, if you have the space they work great, I am trying to make space and these take up so much. My goal is to keep the hose and the water filter in the wet bay.

Great hose, I have two different lengths (25' and 50') it just takes up too much space. I use the Camco quick connects for all of my connections. http://www.etrailer.com/Plumbing/Camco/CAM20143.html?feed=npn&gclid=CNzF4buKxswCFQ9Zhgodh2cOgA

Teknor Apex is a brand name. Homedepot has Teknor products on their site. Why would a reputable company offer junk to the public? I am going to try a 25 footer. That seems to be all of the reach  that I need. I will keep another old style  25 footer in the bay. Not leaving until early July heading west.  Maybe I will try it around home. Will let everyone know my opinion.

ObedB, you would hope they wouldn't but  just take a look around, name brands with low quality, It's everywhere these days.

I like the quick connects, I have a plastic one on the black tank flush. I might upgrade to the brass ones. I have enough room as my wet area has a compartment just forward that has the water pump. I keep my water hoses in that compartment along with the coax cable to hook up to the campground cable connection.

I hope that hose works for you.
