Thanks, didn't know it was an option. My 2 coaches were both setup for generator priority and all of our friends coaches I have been setup that way.
I simply made a bad assumption based upon my experiences just as desertdeals69 did.

I guess if you look at the emblem it certainly is egg shaped. It's bigger than a chicken egg, but it is closer to the size of an ostrich egg than a goose egg but I suspect, like so many other things, the first nickname simply stuck. It make no sense, but that has nothing to do with how nickname appear and how they stick.
My wife's nicknames growing up were JoJo and Piccolo (one when she was being good and one when she was not). No one seems to know why or where these names came from, but they were "her" reality no matter what.

The generator should be wired such that it has priority over all other power sources. If you have the generator running and plug into shore power, nothing should happen. However, if you are plugged into shore and you fire up the generator the ATS should switch you to the generator. Of course, once you then power off the generator your shore power connection would be automatically restored. If neither source is available you should be running off 12V power or power from your 12V to 120V inverter.

No, that is not normal if you have jacks firmly planted. Have you checked to verify that all the jacks are solidly on the ground and slightly lifting the frame? Just down is good, but they should be fully supporting the RV (frame) such that the suspension is taken out of the equation.

I have seen this reported often when levelers were being used. If not used properly, some levelers can twist the coach enough to deform the shape of the windshield area and allow the glass to slide out of the rubber moldings. If you are seeing this at all times, even when the unit is on flat, level ground I think you should contact Damon and ask them if this is a common issue and how the repairs should be addressed. Damon may have done some modifications to the rubber or the glass if this problem is not unique.

You can buy a pay-as-you-go cellular service plan and you will have internet where ever that service is available. The only service available "everywhere" would be satellite internet and it is very expensive to purchase, difficult to learn to setup and is pretty expensive to operate.

Considering all the issues with all the new GPS units, I have decided to ensure the future of my Garmin 2720 and recently bought a new power cord and bean bag mount. I should be good to go for years to come.

Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies! While you certainly may have a potable water tank drain, I can tell you that my coach does not have any sort of a drain. I do not have a Safari so I hope some one who actually knows what they are talking about can help you find one if it exists. If not, you can always just disconnect the water line running to your water pump and let it drain (what I have to do).

If you are in the SW during the time period that this rally is being held, I would like to recommend that you attend this rally. This is (IMHO) one of the best run and well organized regional FMCA rallies. We have attended for many years (but not 2013, boo hoo) and have enjoyed the weather, the company and the entertainment every year.

I guess I am gaining on you in mileage. I just topped 200,000 miles since '99. I don't know how many miles I put on the RV before this one but I think it was about 35,000 from 94-99.

It sounds like you should have insisted that they replace your current POS with the new 7720 since you have had not been able to use the unit you paid for.

Let us know what they say. Maybe it will clear up some questions. I have attended the last 6 or so (but not this year) and I did not see any provisions for late electrical arrivals. The "show" begins on the 9th but the expectation is that you would arrive at least 1 day prior to the start so you would be able to participate in all of the activities. I believe that you are allowed to arrive and be parked as early as the 7th.

Because the RV's have to be parked in order, side by side, there is no way to bring a late arrival into one saved spot in the middle of the others. Once things fill up, they will be full. I am not a part of the rally committee so I may be mistaken and I hope to not be chastised for reporting my previous experiences.

You should get electric as long as you arrive Sun or Mon. If you don't plan to get there until Tues or Wednesday I would not plan on getting electric. You should be able to get a refund tomorrow if you call FMCA and let them know what your issue is. I don't believe you will get any refund if you arrive, don't get electric and request to cancel your reservation (other than the fee you paid for electric).

If it were me (and it's not) and I had not been through the Western Canadian Rockies, I would head N to Vancouver, BC and then E along 1 through Lake Louise (visit the ice fields from here) and then onto Banff and Calgary. Continue on through Winnipeg and Thunder Bay to Sault Sainte Marie and then back into the States heading for the Falls. Stay on the Canadian side if you are going to stay for a day or 2. Take 90E to 81N back into Canada to avoid Boston and Portland and allow a visit to Quebec City along the way. The rest is obvious.
This is about 4400 miles compared to about 4000 miles the route you are suggesting so the few additional miles should not be an issue. Just be aware that fuel in Canada is quite high and you will likely need at least one fill up going my route.

I have had the Road master and the Blue Ox tow bars and I prefer the operation and longevity of the Blue Ox system. Yes, they charge me $25 for a check up, cleaning and adjustment at the rallies but I am OK with that as I prefer their system.
I have also used base plates from Blue OX, Road master and a custom built unit. I don't see any particular advantage to one over the other, just get a matching base or a base for which ever company makes one for your toad. Currently I have a Road master base with a Blue Ox adapter on my vehicle.

You need to look into ALL of the costs involved. In addition to the lack of liquidity, you will have monthly HOA fees and the board of directors may have the right to add additional charges on a whim. Usually, these condos become the property of the owners after the developer goes away so you will have to deal with your neighbors wants and needs whether they are similar to yours or not. Just be aware that a small group will likely float to the top and run the show as they please. I am not trying to talk you out of it, but I would recommend that you go and stay at least one season, attend all meetings, get a complete copy of the books and see what's been going on and what you can expect to go on after purchase. There is no one format for these condos so known what you are getting into before you sign any papers is very important. This may also determine your State of residency if you have not other affiliations so be sure that the State's tax rules make sense for your particular situation.
