One other thing is to make sure your filter is clean. If the filter is clogged it can cause a vacuum and pull air in through the water drain causing a back up and dripping on the inside. Most likely it is as mentioned just a plugged drain. When you go on the roof look for stains from where the water had drained in the past.

Well lets hope you got that fixed.

Hope you have got things cleaned up so you can take a break for Labor day. You have been laboring too hard.
Hope all is well.

I understand you are leaving Asheville going to Pipstem/Beckley? Why not go North on I-26 to I-81 to I-77 you can take I-77 into Beckley or cut off on 20 to Pipestem. I think you will have to go back to I-77 to get to Beckley.
I was there in August. We stayed at Little Beaver State Park. We had a good time in the New River Gorge area.

I had a 1978 Executive that had 171/2 rims and changed to 16 in rims. Yes 16 1/2 can still be found but cost way to much.
I bet you have Chevy rims, call your local junk yards, excuse me (recycling yard) and find some that will work. I would bet something off a 3500 truck would work. Take a rim with you to match the hole pattern. It should be easy enough to find a tier that matches the rolling diameter of the originals. I would look for at least load range "E"

Look in the FMCA Towing Guide for ideas on a towed. Towing 4 down is my preferred method.

It was a cool 96 in Fort Worth today.

Gerard,
I think you sound like someone trying to find a reason not to buy a Class A motorhome.
Bill

Gerard, So what is your point?

Welcome to the forum.
You can find 19.5 rims but an easier and maybe cheaper change would be to regular 16 in rims from a newer doaner truck. Do you have the duels or tandem configuration?

I think the first thing to do is find out what is dragging and see if the slide can be adjusted to stop it. What has customer service said?

Still undecided at this time but probable some place Northwest.
I know what you mean, but there isn't much dry land west of Seal Beach, CA. What are you using for a toad?

We used Smokey Bear over in Gatlinburg. Did you drive 441 to Cherokee? Then 19-276 then back around on I-40. Nice drive.

"Takes about 15 minutes for 70 gals or 3/4 tank." That isn't that bad as far as time goes. You won't get much faster using the city fill valve. As you know you don't want much more than 50 psi on the water pressure to the coach. Do you have a switch or is there a lever to select what position the valve is in?

So where are you headed out to.

I was looking at the picture again and I would make sure you can walk past the solar panels with out tripping. The way they look in that picture it would be hard to get past them with out tripping or walking on the edge of the roof. Be safe I see a serious safety problem trying to get past the panels.

I always use the truck lane Bill.
Ray, Think Sarnia crossing. I really had to maneuver the mirrors around some steel pillars.
Where is that crossing? I crossed at Maine 201 this summer and it wasn't to bad. I have ben through my share of tight toll booths. I know the attendants are glad there is some protection but judging from how scared some of the columns are They still get little wakeup calls from people scraping the post regularly.
Carl, you would be surprised at how many do try and tour without a toad.
Bill

Yep, I know the width does not include the mirrors but one should know, especially watchful at those toll booths. I've been through a few that I had to maneuver the mirrors around side to side.
I try to watch and see which one the trucks are using, some are marked for wide load. If they are open.

In answer to your question, yes, I just returned from having Ford check out the suspension system and they could find nothing wrong. Tires and rims OK. The problem is that the tires not coming back to center correctly causing the shake.
Same question did they check the alignment and set the caster to max setting?

Wayne that is a good article.
Gerard, Just because you can doesn't mean you should applies in this case. This summer I watched some people trying to get around on park roads at The Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The lanes are narrow and there are big rock out cropping's that can snag the side of your coach. The lanes were so narrow that they were half way in the other lane. As you can imagine this created a real safety problem. I thought the roads were narrow driving my CR-V.
I have never heard of anyone getting sited for being to wide but if you drive on to narrow of road and have a incident I bet they pile on.

Nice coach, congrats on your new toy.

Welcome to the forum. Think about it would they build a coach that couldn't be sold and licensed in every state? Go find a coach you like and go camping.

Call tech support. Why not drill all the way through?

adrainey,
Welcome to the forum let us know if you got the cap off.
Under what conditions is it overheating?

Glad you are doing OK. Makes you smile when you go out to start the generator when you really really need it and it starts and runs with no problems. Hope things get back to normal soon.

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried to (using adapters) connect the drop cord to your 50 amp power cord?
Try that and let me know if you get a reading on your EMS. What amp are you providing through the drop cord ?
