Someone mentioned taking FMCA funds must work 24/7 for the company.  I wonder if that was their philosophy  when they were holding down a full-time job; or they spent time with their family and friends.

Yes Ray that was in response to what Ross said "He who lives full time on FMCA funds probably will not be much help." I think that is one of the big problems. We have to many who want the statis of the position but don't seam to want to do anything. So I am sorry if you can't see the difference.

A few years ago, the FMCA forum was open to the public but there was a lot of BS going on. The decision was made to limit it to FMCA members only.Hard to compete with the number of other forums that have brand specific topics and paid sponsors.

So that isn't working. Why doesn't FMCA have paid sponsors?  Why don't they have brand specific topics?
They tried this limiting to just members But now the forums are DEAD. Time for a change maybe back to the way it was, with some improvements. The forum is a good recruiting tool and should be used.
Hear is a suggestion have a place on the forums where you can ask questions directly to the Presidents office and He can answer them. Do they have anyone directly monitoring the internet?
Does FMCA have anyone trying to recruit Youtub influencers to promote FMCA? To join and possibly create chapters of their followers? Has anyone explained the benefits like the FMCA prayed insurance when you have a rally?  You do know some of them have more followers that show up at meet ups than FMCA and that is sad.

The governing board voted to institute a new member category called "Pathfinder". These are people that do not own an RV but are in the discovery stages. They will have full benefits as a a family member, FMCAssist included. They will pay the same dues as everyone else. This is supposed to generate a bunch of $$ which is desperately needed.

    Ideas welcome.

Well I just looked at the form online to join FMCA and it does not reflect any "Pathfinder" category. So how may have joined?

This is what the application says.

      RV Information
What type of RV do you own?    Motorhome   Towable
Please note - you must select one option to acknowledge you own an RV to be eligible for membership.

To follow up with wildbill's recommendation:
    https://nrvta.com/

    https://rvtaa.org/locate/

Just because someone is listed with either of those organizations, doesn't mean you shouldn't ask questions about gualifications, length of time in the trade, are they familiar with how to resolve your issues, etc.

It's your property and your money at stake.

Yes, I thought that would be obvious. Good catch Ray.

We are JUST NOW looking at Prevost Coaches just like yours.  Please provide tips for hunting.

Bid an auction yesterday, but it went high with unknowns about the coach.  It was spectacular, though!

Just so you know the OP hasn't been back since May.

My Pace Arrow sits on a W24 Workhorse chassis not the Ford.  It was the last year with Chevy engine.

The first thing I would do is look up on Shock warehouse the part numbers for your chassis. I like the Koni. Position: Front, Part: 8805 100, Position: Rear, Part: 8805 1003. Current price is  $211.95 each. I would double check because I don't know the year. (that is why it is nice to have that info in your signature) I would also check prices near where you live. I would think nearly any big parts store could get them.

    Keep us updated.
