Sign up for Paint N Sip!!! Space is limited for our guided painting event. Join us at the Rally on Thursday afternoon. Robin did this at one of the Rallys (and she had never painted before) and came home with two awesome paintings. For this event the Artist guides everyone through the painting of this picture in stages so it's really easy to do once she shows you how. It's fun too! Use this PayPal link below to sign up with a credit card or call 413-889-1880. The cost is $30 and it is 1:00-3:30pm Thursday August 4 above the historic Storrowton Tavern. There will be a cash bar. See your Program Guide for more ENERGIZED Events such as DOGZ on Tour https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=SRX7HPCYFDCUQ

RV Stops On Ohio Turnpike If Traveling Through
jeff753 replied to tireman9's topic in FMCA West Springfield 2016
thanks for the brochure....Looking forward to getting to your tire seminar! -
How to find your vendor may be a good item. I ran across a few people who were looking for a particular vendor and couldn't find them.
-
Unless they had a generator problem the power should have been on. I don't have the rally manual with me but it does state what time the generators are to be started to provide power for your lot. Apologies for that one. Past posters already stated the first timer ribbons (some don't like them) are meant to alert volunteers (and others). For me at the corner I would give more detailed instructions on what happens next. Also, appreciate the feedback on the orientation. In the past people would say it took them too long to figure out the trams so we tried to have more info on tram routes. The easiest way to make the rallys smoother and more enjoyable is for all to listen to the feedback and for that we thank you!!

Signage was part of the delay too. Everyone was supposed to come in Elko Road (east gate). Elko road was not marked ( I heard HALE was responsible for this). The north gate (wrong entry gate) had a big lit up sign Welcoming FMCA. The south gate (wrong gate unless you were in a caravan) had no sign pointing you straight towards Elko road. As a result we had coaches approaching the main corner from three directions. Knowing what we know now it won't happen again. The lack of one parking crew caused the back up but the lack of signage caused many an arrival frustration as people missed Elko road and had to turn around. Thanks for coming. We will do better next time.

I don't even see Chandler on the events tab?

Hi I was the guy at the east gate sorting coaches with the floppy orange hat. The problem was we lacked 4 parkers (one team) on the parking team to open the other 30 amp lot prior to one of the other parking teams finishing the loading of the K lot. We then had to wait until they moved over to the other 30 amp lot and set up the first row. This resulted in forty six 30 amp coaches ready to move but no parking team to move them. We had 26 in the staging area and another 20 in the two lanes coming in. This caused parking to grind to a halt for a few minutes. We also had an injury in the corner of the inbound lot we had to get an ambulance to. Anyone have a picture of the sorting corner at the inbound East Gate:? Next year we will hope to get more parking volunteers and work faster:) Appreciate your patience on the inbound....arrive before noon and avoid the afternoon rush:) Jeff Walukonis FMCA ENERGIZED (formally U60) Chairman

It would be nice to know what type of food vendors are coming. I didn't see it listed with the other stuff at http://www.fmca.com/conventions-64/perry-2016.html Maybe there is a list of food vendors (and possibly their menus) available on the site already? I'm sure it's not really easy since the home office would have to wait until food vendors commit and then publish it. Many already know what food is presented at the Rally's but since 1 in 4 are first time Rally attendees, if we can, we should make it more convenient we should. It might help the vendors too....currently people may come loaded with food and then see the food available but not purchase. I like helping vendors:)

Depends on your model ie "hkaj" etc but it's probably this http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/files/RVQD_Operators_Manual.pdf INVERTER OVERFREQUENCY FAULT—CODE NO. 14 (Controller not able to regulate to rated frequency) Corrective Action: Reduce the number of connected appliances, especially when air conditioners and battery chargers are running

Some of them have Airseals that inflate and seal out water....unlike wiper seals that can let water in easier...especially if they get tucked in. Jeff

There is also a first timers orientation meeting Wednesday March 16, 2016 3:00pm-4:15pm in Seminar 4 room. A lot of good information there....be sure to check out the tram routes, where the vendors are etc....if you are a early riser...we are planning on some 7am walks to tour the grounds starting Friday morning weather permitting.

Maxine is the volunteer in charge of volunteers for Perry. Contact her at: mschremp2002@yahoo.com Back in December she said we still need volunteers on two teams, Security and Seminars. The Security Team arrives on Monday, March 14th and has a meeting on Tuesday, March 15th at 3:00pm in the Beef and Dairy Arena. The Seminar Team comes in on Tuesday, march 15 and has their meeting on Wednesday, March 16th at 3:00pm in the Beef and Dairy Arena. The schedules has not been established as yet. I am sure they will be distributed no later than at the meetings for the respective team. If you do have members that would like to volunteer, I will need their full names, F#, cell number and emailaddress.

Thanks for the link Brett. Does anyone know if there is still space available for the driving school or is it sold out?
-
Have they told you where you will be staying/parking starting Sunday? Just curious. I have not received my package...our mail is on hold until later this week..
-
I would travel with at least a half tank of water in case you break down somewhere. There is water and a dump on the Perry grounds. Where is the driving taking place from?
-
I'd ask again. Doug said 50 amp were available as recent as the 3rd. The web page still shows the 50 amp option too. I've not heard of reserving 50 amp for volunteers but I have been wrong before;)
-
Thanks Herman. We appreciate all you do!! Looking forward to seeing you in Perry!
-
Thanks Doug. Irv2.com was saying electric was not available. I'll post your info over there. And yes Herman. See you in Perry!
-
Is Electric service still available at Perry? 50 Amp? Any full hookups left? Thank you
