  1. I replaced my gas detector because of age - now no propane flow. What controls the solenoid on the outlet of the regulator? I am not getting propane to anything.
  2. I vote for the Air Dream mentioned above. These are $300 upgrades to $2000 sleeper sofas. Memory foam needs to go on something solid. If you have a sagging mattress that isn't the way to go. You could put plywood on your hide a bed and then the memory topper. We 'store' our topper on our mattress and then put on foldout bed when needed.
  3. 1. How many miles do you typically dinghy tow your vehicle yearly? 6 to 8 2. What is the total tow mileage you have on your vehicle now? 16,000 3. What is the total tow mileage you expect to put on the vehicle before you upgrade to a new vehicle? based only on condition not year or regular mileage 4. When towing, what is the average amount of time between stops? (be it restroom or fuel)? 4 to 6 hours 5. How often do you stop for a period of 10 min or more? (be it restroom, stretch, eat, fuel)? 2 to 3 times in 8 hours 6. What is your preferred cruising speed? 60 to 65 mph 7. Do you use a rock shield? only on motor home 8. Where does the rock shield mount (bumper, towbar, dinghy, or... so what type)? An option to have the tow vehicle wired for brakes and lights and with the base plate would be helpful
  4. It is fairly simple, you will save $50 to $100 over the dealers price per tire. You will pay for everything else but the tires at the dealers regular price. I just purchased 235 - 80- 22.5 for $500 each out the door. Estimate about $75 per tire for install including balancing and aluminum wheel stems.
  5. I didn't see any reference to solar power here. With an inverter and solar panels, you can run the frig on AC while moving assuming the sun is shining! Also if you have sufficient batteries you can run the frig between stops with battery power and the inverter. I am thinking of getting rid of my AC/LPG frig and getting a conventional compressor type.
  6. After some digging around on the Ford website, the manual (separate manual from non-EV focus) has no towing is permitted.
  7. Does anyone know if the 2013 Focus EV can be flat towed? It is not listed in 2013 Towing Guide but don't think it was available when the guide was published. Towing it behind my MH will solve the 80 mile range problem ;-) Thanks
