Yes Google Earth is your friend, I use it all the time in earth view mode, like he said you can check it out perfectly. I always prepare before leaving home, I also check fuel stations when we had a V10, but now with a DP we hit the trucker stops. Good Luck

So what is the scoop on the new flush mount windows, are they really cracked up to what they are suppose to be. It looked like the air circulation was not that of the side slides you find on most coaches. The appearance of the sleek look outside is very appealing to the eye but I prefer the greater circulation. Having the windows open during the rain is not important to me, heck just click on the AC.

Thanks for the heads-up Bill. Still looking for it all and finding items in the many forums. I really like that idea of repairs at a rally, I find that my wife is a great barterer it just comes natural to her. Hope we can meet up one day.

Congrats on the new coach, new toys are always fun. Enjoy it to the fullest.

Thanks Bill, we been looking around for something my wife would like to drive, she is still not sure which one. I missed out on e-bay on a sweet deal for a Blue OX setup, have to keep looking. Roy

I don't think I want to try a sail on this ship. I'm still looking around for toad, maybe a VW bug or dune buggy. Had them both when I was a kid, and I still love'm. How is the weather up there?

Thanks, hope we cross paths some day.

Thanks Herman, We waited a long time for this for the years we searched for the just right one both my wife and I could agree on. It is just amazing the difference in construction between those two different coaches. My hat is off to Bob Tiffin for him being the person that he is standing behind even consumer errors and I talk from experience. This is just an awesome experience in coaches for having driven semi's hauling heavy equipment up and down the east coast.

Traded the 2015 Tiffin 32sa V10 for a 04 Country Coach Allure (Newport) 40' and I'm loving it. Took pictures but unable to download can't find the cable, the pictures below are just like ours except that grey is not quite so dark on ours. 04 Country Coach Allure (Newport) Description: This very low mileage Allure features AquaHot, a huge galley, 2-vanities, a big shower with seat, 2 roof A/C’s w/heat pumps, tile entry, combo W/D, beautiful cherrywood cabinetry, a pull-out sofa bed, and matching ultra leather recliner w/computer desk. This tag axle equipped coach is powered by an 370H.P ISL Cummins with, 1200lbs torque, and a 2-stage Jake brake, it features an independent front suspension DynaMax chassis, 8KW Diesel generator, great bay storage, and 8 new Michelin tires! We traveled to the east coast and back with the Tiffin and found it to be extremely rough ride and wind noise thru the large grill area was deafening. Radio had to blare and my wife and I had to talk very loudly during out time on the freeways. This CC is like riding on a cloud and the power and torque from that short drive shaft opposed to the 4 sectional one in the Tiffin is amazing. We tried in vain to find a CC before our trip east but nothing fell into our budget then. So my wife fell in love with the Tiffin but I was willing to bend for her to afford a new motorhome for a long trip but I still yearned for a diesel. But I am a very happy camper now, and my wife now understand why I wanted a diesel so bad. I love listening to engine run.

Well thought I would change out the horn on our 2015 Allegro 32sa because it's just not mean enough to make you look when vehicles merge on the highways and we have a l-o-n-g road ahead of us. And the new horn, plus re-used the original mounting hole and bolt. Model 125 The Dominator® 12-Volt 116 Decibels 330/408 Hz A Very LOUD horn. I removed the stock horn, yellow arrows indicate the connectors for the wiring harness (no image) I re-used with bullet connectors After attaching bullets connectors to the wiring harness I plug it back into this main connector. Sorry I wasn't even thinking about posting this, just a second thought. Took about 20 minutes removal and install time.

Getting ready to head east then south then back west, so I ran across this little gem. I'm loading up on all kinds of app's and what not's. http://www.roadguides.com/

As per our phone call to Tiffin, it was not to seek out a free replacement I was hoping for a better price range than the $2200 to repair which there is no way that seat value is that much. With only to lateral bars per each side that was bent. Before I could finish talking Bob Tiffin said he would like to send an replacement driver seat. Actually the location of the slide control is in an awkward place. But yes it was still my fault no ands, ifs, buts, about it.

I had the bad experience of retracting the driver side slide while the seat was not clear and bent the driver seat-- now what. I returned our new (3 week old) Open Road back to our dealer "Mike Thompson's RV" in Fountain Valley CA only to find out 3 days later their quote to repair is $2200.00 "WHAT?" So our extend warranty only kicks in after the first year. So we decided to call Bob Tiffin in Red Bay and I was quite surprised to get him on the phone. We explained what happened and Bob Tiffin said he would send a new driver seat to them at "no" cost to me. I can truly say Bob Tiffin is a stand--up businessman we surely lucked out buying a Tiffin coach. I can tell you our next upgrade will be another Tiffin, so thank you Bob Tiffin. :D

JustCruzzin replied to JustCruzzin's question in Destinations/Attractions
I guess I got ahead of myself here, we are leaving here May 15 and are really taking it slow about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to get there and then when we leave we will head south to pick up Hwy 10 back to CA. But I had to alter our route do to the mountains around Flagstaff AZ as referenced by https://www.mountaindirectory.com/mtnshop/ , just looking at this map wife said no way..(#23 yellow triangle, click on it) http://www.mountaindirectory.com/sample/arizona.html New Route: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Seal+Beach,+CA/Leominster,+MA/@35.6644051,-100.1554206,7z/am=t/data=!4m41!4m40!1m30!1m1!1s0x80dcded838766331:0x3dfc70ec6e279415!2m2!1d-118.1047866!2d33.7414064!3m4!1m2!1d-111.3704474!2d33.9921245!3s0x872bf61ca938a03f:0x960ac6dd0cb0f880!3m4!1m2!1d-93.5921589!2d35.4825438!3s0x87cc7290e91aa983:0xa92c03930df95bbd!3m4!1m2!1d-79.5412127!2d40.3084591!3s0x8834d01683f60a91:0x5ee54654bc0d5daf!3m4!1m2!1d-75.0257226!2d41.3394923!3s0x89c4a6ce323f2137:0x5af6208cc240b471!3m4!1m2!1d-72.3593164!2d41.9956198!3s0x89e6ece8b3fa1c21:0x263db79a9ce1eeb8!1m5!1m1!1s0x89e3e5a22f4740d7:0xff3496bae6bb829d!2m2!1d-71.759794!2d42.5250906!2m1!2b1!3e0 -
Going back to visit my daughter and family and am guessing what route to take. We will check with AAA before we decide but was wondering if anyone hereas taken the same or similar route? Thanks Gary and everyone else. I'll wait then.

Your right I spoke before thinking "track bar".. "Carlada" We did drive it but not to the scenarios we will probably find while driving cross country and about for the next 2 to 3 months.

Just bought a 2015 Tiffin Allegro (32sa) and saw there is an option for Sumo Springs read many reviews and it seems like a good idea to have them installed before we take delivery but I have also been told because we opt for the 24000 lb chassis we don't need the springs. But I guess the torsion bar is a good idea. Anyone else had them installed on their RV?

JustCruzzin replied to planocat's topic in Type A motorhomes
Call me confused again, I just looked up who needs what for California and I don't see anything about "GVWR (lbs.) 27,910" which ours is, it only states under 26,000 and nothing else.?? Sorry to HJ your thread...
