  1. If I lived on the Cape or most other small areas of New England, I would also have a coach less than 36 foot. Province town or Wellfleet is not for the faint of heart.

I don't normally take mine to the house, due to small, narrow roads in my subdivision. However, I put on 13-15,000 miles a year and I would not trade the ride for anything!

I only ran across one RV park this year, that I was too big for, in Eugene, OR. Also, I fuel up (150 gal.) in truck stops.

Good Luck & Happy New Year!

  2. American Coach is also owned by ASV and built in Decatur, Indiana. I took a gamble on a used 2010 Tradition and fell that it paid off.

After looking at the new Tradition, Eagle and Heritage in Redmond, I agree with Ray. The new ones offer a lot of fluff, but not much else for the price and there is not enough difference in the models for me to want a new one.

Also, I'm not a big fan of DEF, my engine is a 09 on a 09 chassis....my 10 came out in Jan. of 2010. :)

  3. Texas. Class B license if your over 26,001 and towing 10,000 pounds or less.

Class A license if your over 26,001 and towing 10,000 pounds or more.

This is for RV's per DMV web site in Austin. My renewal is in Feb. and I will get a AM (motorcycle endorsement) just in case I take all my toys with me!

Have a safe New Year and keep the rubber side down! :D

  4. I would go with cmarq suggestion first. 20K is a lot off $$$ and no matter what any one thinks or think they know, you have to tear into it and find out for sure what the damage is...therefor I would like to have a Cummins factory rep on hand!

I took my coach in for service at Cummins in East Houston, Texas last month and got an extended 5 year/100,000 warranty from Cummins, not cheap, but I sleep better at night!

Join the Cummins Power Club...it more than pays for itself the first time you use it!!!

  5. I agree with Tim and Bill.

I have always seen a use for the rear camera, but a dash one would just be another distraction for me. Just as I have no use for side cameras. I have learned that my side mirrors, give me more input than a camera does. Also, by disabling the side cameras I always have a clear view off my rear and know when it's safe to return to my lane after passing.

I do admit that GoPro was and is the best stock I ever bought....

    Have a great Thanksgiving!
