  1. If overnight and I need to empty tanks and refill the fresh water we use google or one of the apps on our phones (Book your site, RV Parky, KOA) to search for a campground.

If we don’t need the above I seek out shopping areas like a Walmart. We always call ahead and ask if it’s ok to park out of the way for the night off in a corner of the lot Or Cracker Barrel’s have Bus/RV parking.

With new trucking laws (logs) I will not use a truck stop anymore. There is a shortage of available truck parking in the US and those places have become a real hazard to park at when the “professional driver” left the industry.

Truck stops are also taking reservations now, so if you slip into a spot you could get a knock on the door from an angry trucker in a few hours after you settle wanting the spot they reserved.

  2. gwestckd, Welcome to the FMCA forums!

My wife and I were at the Philadelphia RV show two weeks ago and looked at the Renegade line up (and every other coach manufacture there also), we were both a bit surprised at the overall quality of Renegade and how it blew the competition away. I have a friend with an older Dynamax (2006) his coach is built fairly well, but Dynamax then and now are two different companies, Forest River owns them now.

  3. Bill, our Atwood in the last coach had the same issue. Started to squeal at the beginning of a cross country trip thanksgiving day (of course). I did exactly as Brett recommended and it got me a few months of quiet fan operation. Replacing the motor was simple and make sure to order the fan wheel, I did and it was a good thing as the original was stuck on the motor shaft and the plastic was brittle. If I remember it was less that $20 for the fan portion.

to be honest don't have a strong opinion on this one either way other than it seems to add to the line wait times at the DMV while the clerks go through all the varieties of paperwork that are brought it.

Ditto! PA sent out letters with a list of what you needed to bring, I rounded it all up went and renewed my license. I might have been there 10 minutes longer and that could have been caused by some other reason. I only heard people complaining that couldn’t produce proper papers or failed to follow the instructions.
