Can any of you recommend a good oil change place in the Inland Empire in CA? We do not want to go to the dealer and we are having a hard time locating a place. We did find Camping World but just wondered about others?

We heard that after a trip you should care for the slideouts with a spray to keep them from drying out. Do any of you use a particular one that you like better than others?

I say fly the flag every day, we still have wonderfull young people fighting and dying for our nation every day and we need to stand behind them. We fly a smaller flag every day and a big one on 9/11 and holidays.

In my question about changing the oil every 5,000 miles, Seajay mentioned that there might be other tips to do before you park your coach for an extended time. I think these would be useful for many of us. If anyone would care to share I feel this would be a good informational topic. We have a 2 acre property at our home so we store the motor home there, it is not covered but we do have a solar charger so the batteries won't go bad and we have the tires covered and parked on wood. Thanks, Jose and Karen

Hi. We just returned from a four-week trip to Oregon and our motorhome now has a little over 5,000 miles on it. Is it time to change the oil? Is it too soon? We would appreciate you input. Jose and Karen

Hi, Over Thanksgiving we are going to take our grandson to Oatman, Ariz., in the RV. I know about the RV park in Laughlin at the Riverside and about the one at the Avi, but I was hoping someone maybe has stayed at a different one? Are there any good ones closeby on the river? Thanks, Jose and Karen

I totally agree, I have posted several questions and gotten some good replies, it is really good to talk to others who might have the same or similar problems and get advice. -
RV Insurance Research for New Motorhome Owners
berginaperzina replied to TDKeenan10's topic in RV Insurance
I had purchased insurance for my rv through Good Sam and thought I was doing well with it, then one day when renewall was coming I looked around, go a quote from Progressive and saved an unbelievable amount of money. The coverage is good and the people are friendly! -
Hi, everyone. We purchased a National RV Tropi-Cal in February. It is a 2007 that was never sold, so it only had 160 miles on it. What with the economy the way it is and the fact that it is an '07, we managed to get a very good deal. I know the company is out of business, so I am just wondering how you all like yours and what problems is any we should be aware of? Thanks for the input, Jose and Karen

I am just wondering do most of you use the FMCA towing service? I keep receiving offers from Good Sam and since my plan will need to be renewed soon I was just checking around.... I am feeling that FMCA is probably the best but I would appreciate input. Thanks

I was reading a site on ReadyBrake Supplemental Brake Systems and it sounds good, has anyone tried it? or do you have an opinion on it? -
Thanks. We were glad to hear from someone with a Vue. We have a really good mudguard on the RV and we have a large car duster (have not ever used it, but we will now).

I am just wondering what do you use to protect your towed vehicle from flying debris? We tow a 2009 Saturn Vue and so far they do not make a bra for it, so I am wondering if there is something else that really works for protection? Or, does it really matter? is there that much debris that hits it? We have been motorhoming for many years, but this is the first time we are going to tow a vehicle.

This is our kitty Reno. He loves to travel in the motorhome, relax and check out chipmunks. Reno is a 5-year-old Siamese kitty who weighs 14 pounds. We adopted him from a shelter when he was 3 and we have been a happy family ever since. We really lucked out as we did not know if he would like traveling -- at that age, some cats don't. So, imagine how happy we were on his first trip to find that he loves it as much as we do. We named him Reno because we took a gamble and we won!

We have an extended warranty, a 6 year one and so far they have covered any problems and it was an easy process

The photos that get uploaded to fmca have to be no more than 50 pixels, I did upload one for my profile but it took a while as it was way too large. I used a program called Studio for photo editing and cropped it and made the pixels smaller. Is there an easier way that I did not think of? I am good with computers, but this is bugging me. I would like to upload my kitty picture for the pet photo contest and want to do it the easiest way possible. Thanks for your help.
