  1. I live in OKC. I-40 from Arkansas to OKC isn't really too bad. There's a few spots you may want to drive in the left lane at times, it's smoother. We do have new signs though that say don't impede. Just pay attention to your mirrors and pull over if someone wants around you.
  2. I ALMOST hit a utility pole in the campground at Branson the last time we were there. We have a 2007 Bounder 38N DP. I was watching my wife in the mirror on the drivers side, I lost sight of her. So, I stopped to get out & look for her. The pole was about 2" from the door, I was backing around to the left. Another 4" going backward, I'd have smashed the door pretty good. The 2000 Southwind wasn't so luck. I turned too soon exiting my carport. Literally ripped the end cap off on the right side, tore it half way across the back end. $13,500.00 to repair that.
  3. Hello Herman: I'm an Okie. I live in OKC. Texas has all these drivers test requirements, but still have the worst drivers on the road. But, you do have some of the best roads.
  4. Sleepy Hollow is only 1/2 mile west of the main entrance gate, has several full hook ups, great shower/restroom facilities, & free shuttle service to the main gate. PLUS, we've gotten to know the owners REALLY REALLY well the past 14 years, they've pretty much become family to us. Actually, 2 of the nieces drove down to Oklahoma City, from Oshkosh this past June to attend my daughter's wedding. My son-in-law proposed to my daughter at Sleepy Hollow in 2014, had a bunch of the campers present to watch. Anyway, they start taking reservations Jan.1 for that year. They're usually full by end of March/ first of April. Check out their website: http://sleepyhollowfarm.com/. Tell'em I sent you, Marshall Alexander
