  1. I have had similar experiences with my 2012 Astoria. I found that the circuit breaker on the generator itself had tripped. It's on the face of the generator. Make sure it is in the on position. Also make sure the coach batteries switch is turned on and didn't accidentally get turned off. On my coach, that switch is located on the panel between the passenger seat and the coach door.
  2. Here is a link to a web page with excellent info on Texas RV driver licenses. http://www.rvnetwork.com/topic/125345-texas-class-a-or-b-license-upgrade-faqs/
  3. We saw Shade Pro at the Gillette Rally last summer. The quality of their dash mats was excellent. We ordered one from them for the coach we had at the time, but before we made it home from that trip, we had unexpectedly upgraded to a bigger better motorhome. After we arrived home, we received the previously ordered may in the mail. I called Shade Pro and explained the circumstances. They had me ship it back to them and gave me a full refund. Wonderful customer service and way mine than I expected. Unfortunately they didn't have a pattern for the new coach, so we are going to wait until next summer to order one after they take the measurements at the rally in North Dakota. I highly recommend Shade Pro!
  4. We just purchased a 2012 Thor/Damon Astoria 36MQ that has the washer/dryer combo in the bedroom closet. It appears, from the outside covers, that we have 2 water heaters in the coach. One near the back passenger side corner, which is right by the washer and dryer, and the other on the driver's side by the kitchen sink. I cannot find anything in the manuals the selling dealer gave me about this & the "technician" who did the walk thru at pickup was useless. My question is, does the rear water heater just supply hot water for the washer or is it for the rest of the coach too? Is it activated on the switch panel at the same time the other water heater is activated, so both are on at the same time? There is a switch with a red indicator light above it that is unlabeled mounted on the cabinet directly below the closet holding the washer and dryer. I saw in another thread that this switch may be for a block heater for the diesel engine but I'm still not sure. I can't find anything on this switch either and I am wondering if it has anything to do with controlling this second water heater. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. We take my Harley Ultra Classic with us when we travel on an open trailer and then rent a car only if we absolutely need one somewhere we are staying for a few days.
