Kevinbrookwell Report post Posted August 20, 2017 Hello all. This is our first post and hope someone might have some thoughts or recommendations for us. We're located in Western Canada and recently purchased a beautiful, 2000 43' foot Holiday Rambler motorhome. Until such time as we officially retire and spend our winters in the southwestern US, we are considering the option of driving the coach down south (somewhere to be determined), leaving it there and then flying down a few times during the winter for a few weeks at a time. Our thought is we either find a nice campground (not super expensive) and either leave it in a site and pay the rates for the whole winter, or move it to and from a storage facility for the times we come down. He owns a RV Storage Facility. He may have just what you are looking for. His Facility is located about 40 miles North of the Dallas Ft. Worth airport. rfsod48 Report post Posted August 20, 2017 If you are interested in the Phoenix Arizona area, the Pioneer RV park just north of Phoenix on I 17 is nice and they have a large storage area. If they have a space available, you can pay the annual fee and leave it there all year. It is a small park (180 spaces) compared to others in the area - some have 2000 or more sites. djwest21 Report post Posted March 31, 2019 We wintered in Nevada Treasures this year and it is a beautiful place an unbelievable find in the desert with everything we saw on the web site but better in person. Marks Grill has excellent food on site, no driving to eat. Bowling alley indoor and out door hot tub with a upper and lower swimming pool. The larger pool is heated and the staff can't do enough for you with garbage pickup and they will fill your propane on site. close to Death Valley and other places to go. www.nevadatreasures.com Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
