connitaylor Report post Posted November 26, 2017 In our 2013 262xl Coach House, we have a problem with water pressure when not hooked up to city water. The toilet rinser worked when new, but now we have no water flow. Even when hooked up to city water, it does not flow. Any suggestions?
mailman Report post Posted November 26, 2017 Check for a block filter screen or a shut off valve.
BillAdams Report post Posted November 26, 2017 Hard water causes calcium build up and can block screen and filters. Take a look and if that's the problem get a good water softener so the water coming into your coach will have substantially less bad stuff!
wolfe10 Report post Posted November 26, 2017 A problem with water pressure when not on shore water indicates an issue with the on-board pump or blockage somewhere in the system. Have you checked the filter that most pumps have just before the pump? Low pressure only at toilet or at all faucets?
kaypsmith Report post Posted November 27, 2017 After checking and clearing any and all blockages, you may also check to see if your coach has an accumulator in the plumbing, if it does, check the air pressure on it and fill according to the specs on the accumulator. If it does not have one, they are inexpensive and easy to add on.https://www.ebay.com/itm/RV-Pre-Pressurized-Expansion-Water-Pump-Accumulator-Tank-Boat-Pressure-Faucet/192289344140?epid=513173471&hash=item2cc5568a8c:g:co8AAOSwVRpZoXh3&vxp=mtr
manholt Report post Posted November 27, 2017 The toilet rinser has a combo washer/metal screen, just like your faucet. If it's whole house, then look at pump filter. If no pressure when hooked up to city water, I suspect your ball valve is broke or you forgot to turn it on! Have done that.
