2018 Thor 23TB Class C w/3.2L I-5 Powerstroke Diesel

Recommended Posts

Just got one!  😃  Love it so far!  Gets 17 MPG, and not even broken in yet.  Looks small from the outside, but is surprisingly roomy (for 2 people) inside.

Nice, I like the fuel mileage.

Bill

My son & family borrowed our new RV for its very 1st fairly long trip from S. FL to central SC (no mountains, only slight hills), and said he got an indicated 15 MPG at 60 MPH.  Must have run into head or cross wind, as I got nearly 17 MPG on two separate short trips.

He may be like my wife, foot on accelerator until 27 feet from attempted stop to always going over the intended stop point. I am a defensive driver and always am aware that I could need to stop, so I let off the accelerator before needing to stop, and with her driving and my driving the same car, fuel mileage is always 2 to 4 MPG better when I drive. Merry Christmas to all!

It doesn't take much to make a big difference on MPG's.

After my son brought it back, I got 19.9 MPG, so I thought it was more broken in, but I must have had a tailwind, because next tankful , I got 17-18 MPG.
