wildebill308 Report post Posted July 3, 2019 I want to order some of the "Mystical Fire Flame Colorant Vibrant Long-Lasting Pulsating Flame Color Changer for Indoor or Outdoor Use" listed below it. I wonder how it would look in a 200 mph wind? Bill
rayin Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Bill, someone else would have to watch, I'd be hunkered down somewhere safer than a campsite. The way the advertising reads, that is something like the trip-flares we used in the Army, only longer lasting.

jleamont Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Sounds like a good product for when you cannot get your fire lit. I’d be Leary keeping a product like that in the coach basement with my current arsenal of camp fire starters. This is my go to for stubborn wood; https://www.google.com/amp/amp.campmor.com/c/jaja-prostart-campfire-starter
manholt Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Joe, it said outdoor/indoor...don't think I want it in my house!
wildebill308 Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Ray I agree, I don't intend to be "camping" in 200 mph winds so probably don't need to be starting fires in those conditions.

rayin Report post Posted August 21, 2019 19 hours ago, manholt said: In 200 mph wind, your coach would be in another area code...never mind the fire! Geeze.. Many years ago I owned a 1976 Allegro on a Dodge truck chassis. We were driving Eastbound on I 20 through NM when I spotted a dust storm in the South. I took the next exit, and parked behind (North side of) a building. The wind was still so strong it was rocking the MH. Now that IMO was probably only a 50-60 MPH wind. This talk about wind and fire causes me to think of Kicks Brooks and Ronnie Dunn.
