0 wolfe10 Report post Posted February 6, 2020 South Rim only and only after looking at the weather forecast. If forecast good, ABSOLUTELY. If not, hang tight at lower elevations.
0 hermanmullins Report post Posted February 7, 2020 The Flagstaff area can have a lot of snow in March. Still a great sight to see when you can. Herman
0 manholt Report post Posted February 7, 2020 We and a lot of other's on this Forum, was there before and after the Chandler, AZ...FMCA winter Rally in March 2017...Lots of snow and beautiful. 0 f457930 Report post Posted February 10, 2020 we are also going to Tucson in March, and also a Diesel RV club rally in Camp Verde prior to the FMCA convention. That is why we are considering the grand canyon. Thanks for the input. dee
0 wildebill308 Report post Posted February 11, 2020 dee, I don't see a problem just keep an eye on the forecast. Also keep in mind you are about 7000 feet higher at the canyon than Tucson. One summer I was in Tucson and it was 110 and the forecast was for a warming trend. Well they do the whole state on the weather and Williams was forecast hi of 76. I told the friends to come visit but we were headed to Williams in the morning. Bill
