chadmgorman Report post Posted August 16, 2020 Found 2 leaking vacuum breakers on the Tank Flush lines for Grey/black tanks. They are above the water connection bay behind a closet. They leak when flushing the tanks. Are they necessary? Can't I pipe bypass them and add a check valve at the hose connection selector in the wet bay? Looking for advice. wildebill308 Report post Posted August 16, 2020 Amazon has the Camco version for about $12.00 a pop. Or go to your local home improvement store. Bill
rayin Report post Posted August 17, 2020 IMO a check valve would work just as well, that's what I plan to do if/when my vacuum breaker fails.
chindog Report post Posted August 17, 2020 When mine failed, I replaced it with a brass one from lowes.com. They usually don't have the brass ones in stock at the stores.
