cheere20 Report post Posted May 28, 2023 I am new to RV and purchased a 2003 Class B. Is it safe to operate the fridge while driving? I've read it should be "level" or within degrees of level to avoid problems. Will driving up and down hills effect the operation?
frank.bergamo Report post Posted May 28, 2023 Not a problem running fridge while driving. But, very good idea to be level when parked for a longer period of time. Hope this helps.

rayin Report post Posted May 30, 2023 Yes, every propane appliance in your RV is designed to be safe while driving, however they must be turned off while refueling. This describes how your absorption refrigerator cooling unit works, and how the ARP Fridge Defend prolongs its working life.
aztec7fan Report post Posted June 1, 2023 we have always run our 'fridge while traveling. even when parked for short periods (like at tge grocery store), should not be a problem. as always, level the coach best you can when parked for longer periods to avoid crystals forming in the coolant system.
