2022 Corsair Grand Touring no longer flat towable

Recommended Posts

We are currently in Yuma Arizona traveling, we had the local dealer pick up our  2022 Lincoln Corsair for its 30,000 mile service. Our car was returned to us with an envelope make recall 24L10. The envelope contained new pages for our owners manual that stated vehicle was no longer flat towable. We are now looking for option to get our car home.

I reached out to Lincoln Consumer Affairs, they submitted a “good faith lemon law review” which was denied today. I reached out to the Washington State Lemon Law Hotline and was told that 30 months was the cutoff for consideration. I sure there will be others that have the Corsair that this will effect.

What have others done?

I had one shipped from Phoenix to Dallas.  Same here with the memory issue.  However, use bing/google "'car shipper'' and you'll have a dozen responses.  Be careful, prices greatly vary.

When we moved from California to Tennessee last year we had to get 2 vehicles moved along with our RV - I towed my Jeep Gladiator behind our motorhome and the wife drove her Jeep Wrangler behind me. At the speeds we were travelling her Wrangler was getting over 30 mpg so it only cost us less than 100 gallons of gas - a large savings over hiring a shipping company. You might entertain driving your vehicles behind your RV if you have a second driver available.

I will get car home, I was wondering more about Lincoln’s attitude of it not being their issue. I bought the Corsair because it was flat towable.

You were flat towing it right? What did the dealer do to make it not flat towable?
