Does the NAME really need to change?

Why is the NAME Changing?  Why not call it:

Family

Members

Camping

Association

 

This would be inclusive it you only have a tent and not any vehicle to camp with.

yeah, i never understood why the name change.  is there now a huge rush of new members who did not want to belong to a "Motor Coach" club?

I'm not going to comment on the specific name, but the change was made in order to include owners of travel trailers and fivers. Trailer sales tend to be much higher than motorized sales, and as you have likely observed in your travels, many, if not most, RV families use trailers. The intent was never to alienate motorhome owners, but rather to welcome trailer owners into the fold. Your original suggestion here is good, but consider the excessively high cost of rebranding

The name I made up includes all! My ides even includes the folks that do not have a wheeled vehicle to camp in.  Like on the home page that are exploring RV Recreational Vehicle ownership.
