larrydyork Report post Posted January 21, 2015 The back-up lights on my 2013 Winnebago Journey 40L are virtually useless - not bright enough. Does anyone have suggestions on making the lights brighter? Anyone have experience with LED replacements?
wolfe10 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Larry, Check voltage at the bulb. If more than one volt lower than chassis battery voltage, install a RELAY back there (under $10). We can walk you through the easy installation if this turns out to be the problem.

larrydyork Report post Posted January 22, 2015 Wolfe, thanks for the tip. I'll check that out. desertdeals, I'm glad you have docking lights, but that doesn't address my back-up light question.
hermanmullins Report post Posted January 22, 2015 Larrydyork, I am assuming that you are talking about what you see when looking at your camera monitor. Maybe your monitor is set for daylight. Check and see if the monitor is set on daylight or night. This may help. Herman
dickandlois Report post Posted January 22, 2015 Larry, Also check the ground connections. At times they do not get tightened properly when the coach is built. Found 2 connections on our coach after we had driven it for a few mouths. Rich.
manholt Report post Posted January 23, 2015 Had the same problem, turned out to be loose ground and the back up monitor was on for day! I might be wrong, but I believe that the Winnebago Journey also has docking lights. Carl
