five Report post Posted March 5, 2016 That is a great price. I had a 295/80R22.5 blowout last May, of course I was a captive audience, but it cost $800.

greenbarn1 Report post Posted March 5, 2016 Five.. What was the cause of your blowout.
wigginsjsr Report post Posted March 5, 2016 According to the date code, those tires will be almost a year old by April, 2016.
greenbarn1 Report post Posted March 5, 2016 Yes that's correct.
five Report post Posted March 6, 2016 Five.. What was the cause of your blowout. Roadside assistance thought we ran over some road debris when crossing a small bridge on I 55 just south of Joliet, IL...busiest road with 18 wheelers I've ever seen. Clear, dry, 60 MPH, cruise on. manholt Report post Posted March 6, 2016 Ouch! No Tax in Oregon. Montana, New H. But a $289 federal in all states! Suppose to be disposal fee....friend came for my 8. Still had to pay the Feds! FIVE. Was that with the FMCA Fleet? Carl
five Report post Posted March 6, 2016 FIVE. Was that with the FMCA Fleet? Carl What do you mean?
manholt Report post Posted March 7, 2016 FIVE. Did you go thru the FMCA Michelin Fleet discount when you got your tires? If not, why? Carl
five Report post Posted March 8, 2016 No, didn't even think about FMCA and a discount. We were stranded for 5 1/2 hours while the road service tried to find a tire, any make tire that fit. It seems that 295/80R22.5 tires are primarily for RVs, thus very hard to find even near a big city. When I need more than one tire, I'll give FMCA a call.
