Have you considered getting a rock guard for your MH?

Check the American Coach models for those years. The new ACs are rated at 15,000, so the older ones are probably in your range or higher.

I'm certainly no engineer, but in theory, the turbocharger remedies the altitude problem by compressing the air back to sea-level pressures in order to produce rated power at higher altitudes. The altitude at which the engine is producing full power is known in aviation terms as the critical altitude. When the vehicle is above that altitude, engine power output will decrease as altitude increases just as it would in a naturally aspirated engine. -
My coach requires 26" blades. Due to the width of the blade that fits in the OEM bracket, all will not fit (Anko did not fit). At Wal Mart, I found Bosch, they did fit.

You have lots of water around your area, check the boat dealers. I have a 50 x 20 garage with power at a boat dealer's yard. He has a big building with five of us lined up with separate garages.

...I would go with AGM batteries never have to worry about filling or checking the water level....
Great batteries, but a bit pricey.

I think you will be alright. Mine cleared with no problems so I would think that the 2 bike rack would be ok to. And your right. Ours would have worked if we would've had a lower toad. Good luck.
I have the same set up with a single drop hitch and three bike carrier and it works fine.

The CRV is a great vehicle to tow four down. The owner's manual spells out what you need to do...the stop (in our manual) to start it and run it through the gears, is eight hours, there is no mention of miles.

A biocide is what you need, any marine store will have it: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=14353&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=50366&subdeptNum=50396&classNum=50399

The biggest hindrances to "good" MPH, assuming your engine is running right, are head winds and going too fast. All you can do is reduce your speed.
-
By "run below diesel level" do you mean it tried to run but the fuel in the tank was too low? If so, the AH fuel system may have lost it's prime. The AH manual will tell you how to reprime and get it running again.

My pump has a filter, if yours does, be sure it's clean.

If you ever have a camera or GPS that quit working totally, you can access the back of the 5000 by removing the big cover. There is one screw on the front part of the windshield side of the cover. Unscfrew it and the cover comes off. Each camera and the GPS are plugged into the back of the 5000. My GPS quit working...it had come unplugged.

One of them would need to have a much sharper turning radius for you to ever tell the difference between them. Personally, I would not base a preference of these coaches on this factor.

Same here...don't over think the issue.

I'm on Garmin #4, my biggest complaint is that there is either no manual or it's inside the GPS. I like to have something in my lap to which I can refer when trying to work with something like a GPS.

Check out the Honda CRV, 2 wd or 4 wd and the manual explains how to prepare for "towing behind a MH."
-
I have the AH 450-D, the manual says to use Propylene Glycol, which is a boiler type antifreeze.
-
Just to clarify USAA, they insure some RVs and some boats, up to a certain price, then they refer you to Progressive. I do not know what that price point is. Some are hesitant to use Progressive due to their politics.
-
It does not have to be "RV" furniture...which is way over priced since it's for "RVs." We bought a very nice small leather recliner to replace the most uncomfortable "RV" recliner I've ever sat in (made by Flexsteel), at Sams.

My OEM rock guard keeps anything from hitting the front of the toad, thus eliminating the need for a car shield. Here are some pics of others:

Actually, starting the toad after so many miles depends on the "recreational towing" instructions in your toads owners manual. Some toads require starting every so many miles or hours, and some don't.
Good advice, my CRV's manual says when to start it...300 miles. Many disregard these instructions, I try to stick with them, but don't all the time. For those that have toads that are not blessed by the factory to be toads...you're on your own.

I have to agree. AquaHot runs either off the electric if you are plugged in or the diesel if not plugged in. I would think that running the generator will provide the electric to heat with AquaHot on the road, but since the generator also uses diesel, I would think just running the AquaHot from diesel would be more efficient and put less wear on the generator.
These are just observations from a very new DP owner, but seem to make sense.
If on the road, the AH runs off the engine, so you are not using electric or diesel.

Thanks, Herman, think I go find a cap!

It's hard to beat a Honda CRV, has instructions in the owner's manual (so there is no doubt you can tow it four down), plus Honda's reliability, economy, and resale value.
Anyone Knows Of Beach Front, Texas Gulf Shores Campground?

Good suggestion. We are in Rockport now...there are CGs all over the place. There is very little "beach'' here.
