  1. WOW! That's a horror story!

By all means, get in touch with Marcus & get yourself an Atty. There is no good reason for you to live in fear, nor for you to pay for anything!

I hope that your not still using CW to fix your coach in the driveway off your home! If you are, then shame on you!

I use Cummins Coach Care for most mechanical things. I call Spartan if I have a chassis issue and they tell me who to take the coach too!

If I can't get to factory, then I'll let them make the appointment for me at a local dealer...that eliminates the 3 to 5 week wait, while the dealer

takes care of their "customers first".

Like Tom. I never leave the coach alone and pick up later, even when I'm near home. I have learned too give them a key, not the whole key

chain and not the fob. In the afternoon, I get the 1 key back until the morning! Not paranoid, just see no reason to tempt someone.

  2. OK. Clueless! It's a swing out and about 30" long.

When I left Asheville, NC it worked fine...then I got to Roanoke Rapids, NC and no workee! <_< The key makes a clunk sound when I lock it, no sound to open and does not turn 90 degrees when I try to open! On key fob, no sound on lock or open. The battery on both fobs are good, they will open and lock all other compartments and door!

I only lock everything when I leave coach...if I use fob to lock front door, it automatically locks all outside compartments! I have tried with coach level on HWH, Air and just on ground....nothing!

On my Winnebago Tour and Allegro Bus, there was a reset switch in Co-Pilot side of coach....have not found one! :(

At least I got my Toilet to work....That was a big relief!

  3. Herman.

Having had 3 different units, in 3 DP's. I like the one I have now the best, it's a Whirlpool, 2 door! The others where Amana and GE, 3 door.

Women go crazy over the 3 door! Lots of volume in fridge for pot luck items. I had trouble with the plastic tabs on top breaking off and their

    hard to find.

Tabs on mine is metal. I have no problem putting a 2 gallon pot off stew in it. You have a DW, she will tell you what to get ! <_< Likely you

will have to modify your space a lot. LOL. Hey! She happy, you happy! :):)

  4. Jack.

Since I put mine down, I had forgotten Lucky's habit of drive chair sitting and yesterday I cleaned all interior and exterior windows.

I can see clearly now that all the nose prints are gone! LOL.

I used to tie a bandana around my brake release. Your idea is a lot easier. I'm getting another dog, so I'll remember that!

  5. I totally agree with Bill. First you have to like living in it, second is if it's used, how well did previous owners take care of it and how much will it cost you after you buy it, to bring it to the condition you want. Like, does it need new tires, awnings, batteries, up graded TV etc.

New or used, you will have a substantial list of things that need to be fixed. Does the used coach come with a warranty? Reputable dealer is usually 90 days. Do you care where the manufacturer is at?

I have had a 11' Allegro Bus, but not a Entegra. From what I have learned myself and talked to others that I know, Entegra Anthem offers a lot of bang for the bucks! Other than that, it's "who likes what brand the best"!

As for rear bath, I have had them, back in the 70's and 80's and they where great then, but now I would not, because I'm 6' 8" and all the ones I have been in, you have to step up...I can't stand straight in them!

  6. When I got my Jeep Wrangler Sport, it had 16" rims with General A/T tires (they are a joke) and by law the rims was fitted with APM's.

I changed to 18" rims with Nitto Trail tires and the yellow tire light on dash came on. I pulled the fuse and lost the light, radio and R/L

turn signals! Fuse is in and so is light.

I can see having TPM's on cars, but on a Jeep 4x4 is plain stupid! It's an off road vehicle and as such, I let air out constantly depending

    on the terrain for traction.

I'll never sell the Jeep, because then I would have to put the 16" back on and with a 3" lift, HD off road shocks and springs, it would look

    a little funny!

  7. FIVE.

If your key is on and engine running. What is there to prevent the child from activating slide, while your driving down the road?

I asked a Tech the same question after I bought my 07' Tour...I got a blank look! On it, I could put out all 4 slides with engine running.

    J. I dump all air prior to leveling, then level by air or HWH...then I put out slides after I hook up and remove what I need from outside bays!

I get a smoother operation that way, because there is no chance of binding.

  8. J,

How they get in? One of lives little mysteries, just like the elephant grave yard or dead snakes! LOL

    lewis,

I have had dogs and cats for over 30 years now and no harm has come to them. My 2 best friends, have large Ranches in both Texas and LA. They are the ones who told me what to use. Animals will not lick or eat something that repels them.

I and everyone else I know, uses Anti Freeze...that's something that you have to be careful with around pets! We all have stuff in the house and garage, that needs to be kept away from animals and children. That does not mean that we can't use it in a controlled way!
