  1. Richard.  Your not going to find that answer from me!  Suggest you speak to a Licensed Professional.

Ross.  As a past ND, I know where the rubber hits the road.  As to a tax free Foundation, anybody can learn about the IRS guide lines on the web and you don't have to be a CPA to understand it.

Brett. Agree for 90%!  The other 10% is Tucson, when the world is starting to go into Lock Down mode and several States in the US doing the same, the market is doing a nose dive. I ask myself, why in Gods name is the leaders off FMCA thinking  that it's business as usual?  Now, that the damage is done, I'm suppose to forgive and forget and say, "Sure I know it's a hardship, so off course you can keep my money!"   It's not the $$, it's the principle of how it was handled.  That's the point.

Just received a post from South Central Area.  The Six State Rally in Shawnee, OK has been cancelled.

  2. For the first time in my RV life...No Ladder!  I'm mounting one of my stick on in front, where Lic Plate normally go!  In back on grill, I'm thinking about a rubber backed aluminum plate that we can mount with Molly bolts and then glue plate to it, along with 2 mollly bolts.

  3. My biggest irk right now is, why where all of us who paid in good faith, not given the opportunity of choice, a certificate or a refund.   At 77, there is no guarantee that I will be around to use the certificate or want to!  Do I wish for FMCA to make $$$ on my money? No!  I want to make the 10% interest.

  4. I like your thinking!  I would suggest pig wire fence, not electric.  No dogs needed, just sign's and a barking recording that comes on sporadically for a few minute's.  We have both real and fake cameras with a smiley face.  Some sign's in back of property, that say's "You can't out run the Bull" in 2 languages!  One at the second gate, that say's "Your in range"!

  5. With all due respect for the EB and our President...I personally think they could have waited another 40/60 days in regards to the 102nd convention!

The odds are in favor of eradicating most of the Coronavirus by then!  Like SAREs and the others, it will probably never go away entirely, but rather become dormant for an undetermined period.

They, the Dr's and Scientists, already know that Hot, Dry weather will kill the virus and Cold weather will make it Dormant.

  6. Ray, you know there is no such thing as a "Silly or dumb thought" in this game!  You and Herman, spot on, don't blow any line unless it's not attached at either end.  His carb is not gunked up, since it works fine when warmed up, just has problems when cold...If it was me, I would remove carb and install a new one.  Then take the old one apart.

  7. Lifetime to most of us, is ours!  I have saved a Ton of $$$ in not having to pay dues, I'll get my card later it's in the coach and it's raining, I think it was 1984.  Became a member in 1967. Same year as FMCA.  GS got my name, since I sent them a check, before I left for a job in Europe...FMCA got my wife's name, she sent that check!  Old fashion thinking, when your married, you should have the same last name! 😡

  8. I well remember taking the Holly Carb apart & cleaning...The days of KISS in engines, is long gone now!  On a gas Gen it's still fairly simple, look it up on the web...plenty of films.  As Rich wrote, remove and cut filter to see what's been trapped.  Microns of rust/dust will make a carb useless!

  9. The longest coach trailer combo I have ever seen, was at the Houston Livestock Show BBQ cook off.  A custom built tractor/trailer/trailer combo off 143'...full living quarters for 12, totally self contained, you could walk from tractor to back trailer, both trailers was a complete BBQ unit...each unit could feed 2,500!

It was built and owned by Shriner's International (at that time it was Shriner's of North America) to cook and feed the first responders of 9/11/01.
