I think if you are looking for a premium coach with no slides this is a steal. It is a 1996 Foretravel. aztec7fan Report post Posted November 28, 2016 Wild Bill, and others, if you ever come accross anyone else looking for a no slide out coach, you might suggest they look into Lazy Daze Class C motorhomes. http://www.lazydaze.com These are brand new coaches with no slides. nitehawk Report post Posted November 29, 2016 "Different strokes for different folks" A no slide older coach is less likely to have expensive slide issues, be it the slide drive mechanisms or seals. We didn't want slides (only two of us & one cat) so didn't want the extra weight, room, and problems that most likely will occur with an older coach. The more complex, and used, an older coach is, the more likely you are looking at things to go wrong, even with the PO doing excellent maintenance. If up & moving a lot the constant in/out of a slide increases the potential for problems. The 102" width and proper layout of a coach makes a big difference, along with window size, placement, interior colors, all add to how roomy a coach feels. In a few years it will be just the two of us, no need for all of the added weight and hassles that come with slides. There will be a point in our life where this coach will be traded in for an older unit with no slides. While the extra space is nice its not necessary in our minds. The only reason we purchased this coach was that they were on the drivers side, we spend most of our time under the awning taking in the sights and to walk around a slide or to have one cutting down on my outside space is a huge deal breaker. nitehawk Report post Posted November 29, 2016 "To each his own" is another saying that comes to mind. Our local dealer didn't want used no-slide coaches in inventory, and also some "off-brand" name they didn't know. We ended up with one heck of a deal on a 36' no-slide, "off-brand" Foretravel Grand Villa diesel pusher and couldn't be happier. A brand that has been number one and is still in the top five for quality. Only problem of any consequence in five years of ownership was a plugged fuel line. obedb Report post Posted December 9, 2016 Our diesel powered genset is not loud. 7.5 kw Onan Quiet. Should have heard the Onan gas 6kw. Whew! Nitehawk. Your coach is a classic.
