Philand Report post Posted March 2, 2014 What is dry silicone? I used spray graphite and it seemed to work well. You have to be careful to not stain elsewhere, but works well in the "felt type" channels.
rossboyer Report post Posted March 2, 2014 Woodworks supply houses (Rockler) sell a product called SLIPIT. SLIPIT comes in two forms, spray and paste that is about the consistency of vasoline. I like the paste. Just a couple pea size dabs in the top and bottom track and slide back and forth.

Larry196 Report post Posted March 5, 2014 I went to the store and bought paraffin Wax, like grandma used to seal canning jars, since then I have found lots of uses. Larry
hermanmullins Report post Posted March 5, 2014 Larry, I just saw an article on using Paraffin Wax on wood working equipment, table saws, jointers, and almost any surface where you need wood to slide. Herman
