I lined mine with that very thin indoor/ outdoor carpet you can get at Costco, Home Depot, or Lowe's. Super easy to cut and stays in place and looks nice

I'm very happy to be driving a large diesel pusher coach over a gas rig l call that spending the children's inheritance!!! The costs can be spendy for operating and maintaining it but you only live once, l hope someday to buy an older prevost then my costs will be even higher but they look so cool. All that matters is you have fun in whatever rv you can afford.

No it wasn't a selfie, l was getting set up and the guy was rambling around his old gasser rig so l couldn't resist taking that picture, always good for a laugh.

That was very entertaining video to watch, l was only 6 then and we went camping in the heavy canvas tent, what a back breaker that must have been for my Dad to put up but good times then, now its glamping for us !!! -
I wish l could find a good person like Erniee out in San Diego area to do flooring, one company said all 4 slides need to come out, some don't call back, one came out and never called back with a bid, crazy ??? I know it's a lot of labor to do these, I'm ok with doing the tear out of old carpet and leaving the existing ceramic tile which looks fine. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

We are actually living here cheaper than we did in Seattle and we don't live in our motorhome.
-
Yes it was a big change after living in Seattle for 50 plus years, daughter and the grandkids live here also. I know people don't like California for a lot of reasons but l will put up with it and not be cold and damp for the rest of my life. Nice not having to winterize my coach either and can go camping year round.

I bought it new back in 2016 in San Diego but l don't think they make them anymore except for other types of trailers, no the platform is not lockable but is a tilt bed. I did learn to start looking at tire codes finding out that a 2016 tow dolly had 2012 tires on it, but at least they weren't expensive to replaced unlike my motorhome will be when that day comes. Great chatting with you Bill and others on the Forums Mark

It's a Carson tow dolly with swivel platform, it has a flat smooth plate the tires sit in so even with the chains and straps it moves some with our Toyota Corolla. It has a low front end on the car so l have to put a 2 x 12 on the ramp to clear the front end when it goes in the saddle so by using the bricks it makes the car come off easier otherwise l wouldn't use them. I do check the straps several times to make sure they are tight when traveling.

I bought one of those parabolic radiant heaters at Harbor Freight last year and it does a great job at 400/900 watts plus l found a 250 watt electrical one l put on the counter in the back bedroom from Walmart both are quiet. Good luck
