Camping World is like KOA, both are last resorts.

As noted, the hitch is only part of the equation. You should also consider the GAWR, GVWR and the GCWR...as Brett noted. Some of the larger coaches have a 15k tow rating...that would solve your problem!
-
In a previous coach we had similar noises under the passenger's seat. Long story short...many missing and broken welds.
-
All CRVs (2wd and awd) from model year 2014 and earlier are towable four down. They changed the trans for 2015, so it is not towable. As noted above, read and follow the directions in the manual.

I own a 2016 Winnebago powered by a Cummins diesel with 3,000 miles. I am about to store the unit for the winter and wondering if I should change the oil with only 3,000 miles on the engine. What does everyone recommend.
The easy answer is to do what the manual says. My previous coach had an ISL and said change the oil at 20k or one year, whichever came first. My Detroit Diesel in this coach says 35k...no time limit.

I do not know if Newmar has a tech line, but if you still have problems and the do have a tech line, call them. I had a problem with my coach not starting I called the Amer Coach tech line and the tech talked me through, step by step, setting up the system so it would not happen again.

The dog hair will turn many prospective buyers off, even dog lovers...it's not their dog. I'd get rid of the dog hair, leave the front alone and clean the carpet. If you can't get the carpet clean, have it done professionally.

FYI, adjusting the slides is a serious issue. We were at a rally where the factory had numerous techs. They would not adjust my slides and said they adjust the slides only at the factory in case there is a problem.

We had a similar problem last week. Turns out the breaker in the stalk was bad.

DDEC: Detroit Diesel Electronic Control (DDEC) system.
ISL: Cummins 8.9 liter engine. 370-400 HP. Most 1,200 lb-ft torque. Can have either engine compression brake or exhaust brake.
ISB: Cummins engine. Early ones 5.9 liter. Later ones 6.7 liter. Cummins smallest engine used in motorhomes
Properly cared for, the diesel engine will outlast the coach.
FYI, the ISL is now increased to a max of 450 HP and 1,250 lb/ft torque. Those numbers are also the max for the Allison 3,000, any more HP or torque requirse the Allison 4,000.

I too have had a recent blow out...RF in May. However, it's been my observation the vast majority of blowouts are on pull behinds and 5th wheels. IMHO, the reason for that is that most of their tires are made in China and are not nearly as good as the tires made elsewhere we put on our MHs. I had a 5th wheel and did not have a blowout, but the Chinese made Mission tire just came apart...properly inflated and loaded, going 60 MPH...just a lousy tire. I replaced them with LT tires, no more issues.

For a 2007 model gasser, 33k is not bad. If it checks out okay...and the D/W likes it, do it.

...My manual does not say anything about running the system with RV antifreeze in the system but it does say NOT to run the system without water in the system...
They are talking about the anti freeze, not fresh water. Also, propylene glycol is the recommended anti freeze.
-
Try pushing both switches together...that's how the water level is set, but it flushes first. If it works, take your fingers off the two swithches when the water reaches the desired height in the bowl.

...FIVE.
If your key is on and engine running. What is there to prevent the child from activating slide, while your driving down the road?...
If it's like everything else, there is some kind of safety feature to prevent that from happening. Like if you put it in drive with the jacks down...bells and whistles go off and it won't move. Or try to move before the jacks are all the way up.
-
These generators will run for weeks/months at a time...with very little care. That's what we did in VN.

One post and gone??

Carl, if you have sent me a PM, the system won't let me open it...nor can I edit my post above.
-
Have you tried pushing on the door next to the lock when turning the key...that might releave some pressure?
Also...couple of points of clarification. The AH has no tank. And, when you turn on either the electric element or the burner (or both), all water coming out the hot faucets will be coming through the AH, so it will be hot. All of this has nothing to do with your water pump, bay door, or access to the AH. Ideally, if all was well with the AH, there is no reason to open that bay door.
-
FYI...Even if the sensor says the tank is full, you can override it by pushing and holding either flush switch for six seconds. Then it will flush.

When storing a class a for three months in Fla. Can I leave a battery tender hooked up for that long without damaging the batteries? Stan elmg911@ymail.com
Yes, as Carl noted. However, if you have a smart charger just leave it plugged in...that's what I do.
-
Yep, never looked better.
-
...Your tires will age out, long before they wear out....
Agree...get the ones with the best deal...that are not made in China.
-
Who makes Sampson? No Chinese tires for me...BTDT.

It is what it is based on past experience. Experiences I wish to avoid in the future.
