  1. arthurhugh, Where in SC are you located? I'm in the Hilton Head Island area . Maybe I can recommend a competent repair shop that can address your issues.
  2. Bosch has put out a brake recall for this issue - I'm sure you can find it discussed in this forum -- When I bought my coach this winter, the recall had not been addressed - I insisted the seller fix prior to purchase which she did but to her expense !! Repair facility in Jax -- Rivers RV - had fixed this issue multiple times in the past and presented pics to Bosch for recall compensation but to no avail - seller paid about $700 for repair and was advsed by Rivers to join class action suit brought about by other owners who had to pay for the repairs "out of pocket" -- Let me know if you need help finding this topic discussed by many RV owners -- Who did the repair work ? They should have known about the national recall and advised you accordingly !
  3. Marvin - see my previous post - the prices listed on MIchelins spec sheet from last year is what I paid 3 weeks ago -- make sure your truck tire dealer abides by these prices or find somebody else who will honor those prices -- The installing dealer makes a profit on the install labor and supplies - ie. weights, metal stems, balancing, etc.
  4. Have you tried to start the gen? When I bought my coach this winter, the carb was all gummed up - gas was not treated with Stabil - told the seller I wanted a new carb installed which they did - no problems going forward - as you've read others advice, they need to be exercised on a routine basis or treated with Stabil for long term storage.
  5. Bought 6 of these Michelins - XRV - Total price including mount, dismount, balancing, new valve stems, scrap disposal fee and GA tax = $3021.44 Purchased at truck tire/repair facility in Savannah GA - do you need more details ? The price of the tire is $378.52 - list price was $744.62 - Savings of $366.10 per tire !
  6. Another good selling feature is that any GM dealership will service the vehicle !! Much wider service network than just Saturn dealerships in the past - We actually own 2 Saturn Vues - 2009 and 2009 - Great vehicles - would highly recommend ! Send me a PM if you want more specific info --
  7. 2009 was the last year they were sold although some were mfg'd and sold from what I understand in 2010 -- Are you interested in a Saturn VUE ? I have a 2009 and it is definitely towable - 4 wheels down !!
  8. What size tire did you buy ? If I could ask, what did each tire cost with the FMCA discount ?? Thanks - Nick in SC
  9. I recently placed a $46.00 order with Kiley and mailed them a check - the items were delivered about 2-3 weeks later but my check was only cashed several days ago -- this was about a 30 day delay after I received my products -- I was about to put a stop payment on the check but it did finally clear -- They may need some assistance on their accounting side -- My experience was just the opposite of yours --- Nick in SC
  10. I see you live in Boxford - we lived in North Andover but very close to the Boxford line - have been in SC for the past 14 years - small world !! Nick - Hilton Head Island, SC -- Boeshield is magical !! Pricey but works !!
  11. I just used Boeshield T-9 sold at West Marine and other outlets - pricey at $17-18 per spray can but it WORKS !! I just purchased a 2003 Pace Arrow that was not driven or maintained for several years - the 2 rear jacks would not retract all the way - sprayed them with this product and now they retract - also good for slides, awnings, Kwikee steps, etc. Do a google search to read up on it - It worked for me !!
