I thought you had to be an FMCA member to read and post on this forum?

with so many new people- how come there is not more participation on this forum? I get 2 -3 daily digests from Monaco, Newmar, American coach forums but see few new comers. Doesn't the rally promote this forum? When I started the Wanderlodge forum, I went around and gave out business cards and explained what we were doing. Inquiring old mind~

Seeking participants for new magazine feature
erniee replied to Johnston's topic in General Discussion
Years ago, when Bluebird was in business, there was their "spokesperson". She stated that she had been with the company for X amount of years and had never stayed in a coach. She was proud to say that "this weekend" I'm going to stay in a Wanderlodge. I wonder how many of the employees of FMCA actually have set foot in a coach? -

I joined FMCA quite a while ago. I was interested in all the reviews for the Class A coaches as I'm not interested in the other ones. I have seen the magazine go from quite a large -aka volume publication to what it is now. I do not subscribe to Trailer Life or Motorhome magazine. But if the new magazine is going to feature pop-ups and slide in pickup campers- I'm outta here. -

On one of my Bluebirds I thought adding granite to the stairs would make it look sharp. It did, till I slid down them with wet feet. Went back to the rubber treads Roppe does make the treads in a wider format. -

Roppe is the name of tread manufacturer. Any full service retail flooring store- not the box stores can order it. It's expensive but will last forever -
Blake- we use to have rallies at Top of the Hill- till a wildfire came thru- I guess they have rebuilt?

If it is laminate, which is just a picture adhered to mdf, no issue.

why would you take the chance of running out of fuel by going so low on maybe an inaccurate fuel gauge?

Guys- I get my Roppe raised round treads from Professional Flooring Supply in Ft Worth. You can buy them thru me and just pay at time of purchase. Or let me know, I'll order them and you can pay them direct. They will ship, also. Roppe is made in Fostoria, Ohio. I adhere them with spray contact adhesive

I use to install vinyl planks. Mannington was the best brand. I would not put allure in my dog's house

Synthetic Transmission In Older Allison
erniee replied to sierrastarr1@sbcglobal.net's topic in Type A motorhomes
I had Inland Truck in Dallas work on my prior coach- 97 Wanderlodge, after squirrels ate the wiring. They replaced the fluid with synthetic and never had any leaks. I'm with Brett- go to an Allison specific shop -
